He/Him
“We don’t make lasting, constructive changes in our lives because of shame or self-loathing. We finally decide we were made for something more. This might come to us as a very small sense of knowing, but it’s a change in perspective, and it is the soil for new life.”
– Leeana Tankersley
About Levi
Hi! My name is Levi, and I’m a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I believe that navigating life’s challenges, whether through life or developmental transitions, grief, or exploring your identity, can feel lonely and isolating. My approach to counseling is collaborative and integrative, grounded in a person-centered foundation and tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, needs, and goals. I draw from strengths-based, cognitive, and dialectical behavioral approaches, with authenticity being at the heart of my work, both in showing up genuinely as a clinician and in creating space for clients to explore what authenticity means for them. As an openly queer, trans man, I utilize an identity-affirming and social-justice-oriented lens and strive to create a space where clients can bring their whole selves. I am LGBTQIA+, polyamory, and kink-affirming.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2023 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2026. My experience includes working with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults in inpatient, private practice, and college- and community-based settings. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and have published and presented research on best practices in counseling transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive clients.
Levi is practicing under the supervision of Hannah Bingham, LCPC (MD LC13326).
