About Claire

Claire Marin is a counseling intern working with adult clients in Maryland. She is committed to working with clients who have experienced trauma or loss that have led them to feel overwhelmed or unsafe. She builds trust and safety with her clients before getting deeper into experiences that may be triggering. Claire works to support clients in identifying and using their strengths to build confidence and heal from pain. She honors the client as being an expert in their own experiences and deeply values and respects clients of diverse backgrounds. 

Claire is earning her master’s degree in counseling at Saint Joseph’s University, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is working under the supervision of Hannah Bingham, LCPC (MD LC13326). Claire has experience working with children with cognitive disabilities, autism, and behavioral challenges. She worked to help them identify emotions and learn to self-regulate and communicate effectively.
